It has been a while, but I figured it was time for an updated skincare routine. This isn’t necessarily a nighttime or daytime routine. Because I often use a makeup remover during the morning as well, to remove any makeup that is still left on my face so I can start with a clean slate.

As I have stated many, many times, the Garnier micellar water is one of my absolute favourite skincare products. But I felt like I needed to switch it up a bit. Luckily for me Garnier also has a gel version of the micellar water. So why not try that out?

Step 1

The Garnier Skinactive micellar cleansing gel wash (that’s a mouthful..) is perfect for the lazy people. You simple squirt one or two pumps of the gel on your (clean) hands and start rubbing it all over your face. As mentioned, it is a gel-like consistency, but luckily not runny at all. The scent of the gel is very fresh, so you’ll feel very clean and refreshed afterwards.

Step 2

You might have noticed that I use a lot of Garnier products, no this is not sponsored, I am simply a huge fan of their products and they make my skin feel and look amazing. But moving on; after removing my makeup I go in with the Garnier Pure Active, sensitive. It is an anti-blemish soap free gel wash. The liquid fluid turns into a milky consistency, which makes it very easy to rinse off. The gel has a floral scent, making your feel fresh and soft after a deep cleanse.

Step 3

For years (like literally decades), my dad has been using the Nivea cream. I grew up with it and it is so good for my skin. I have a combination skin: really oily T-zone, but the rest of my face just dries out. This cream keeps my face moisturised and soft for the entire day. I have to admit, it is quite an oily cream, so be careful with how much product you’re applying.

Step 4

Last, but not least: Vaseline cocoa bodylotion. While taking care of your face is extremely important, you should definitely not forget to take care of your entire body. It isn’t a thick consistency, so be careful when trying to squeeze the product out. First time I did it, I spilt it all over the bathroom floor, oops. But it feels so soft and smooth on my skin. Even better, it is a huge bottle, so it will last a lifetime!

What are some of your favourite skincare products? I would love to know!

Love, Larice
